I really can't stand our government. This is really random, but I've been into reading about everything thats happening in the Iraqi war, and relating that with the interview with my uncle about Vietnam, its exactly the same.
I was just reading about marines killing a family, and others killing like 20 unarmed Iraqi civilians in a "revenge attack" because one of their friends had been killed by a roadside bomb.
Hello? Did we all not learn about the My Lai massacre in Vietnam when they killed hundreds of unarmed Vietnamese..why? because their corps had been taking casualities from weird bombs and traps in the jungle.
I wish George W. Bush would pull his head out of his ass and realize the war is a huge waste of time, even if we did restore a democratic government there, its just a matter of time before more people overthrow it.
